The Photographer

Boni Febrianda is a Sydney based photographer with extensive experience in commercial photography. He began taking pictures in high school using film and has never stopped. He fell in love with lightings and studios while working at Bates Patterson Advertising Agency as Account Executive, when he got a Coca Cola and Pampers packaging shot jobs.

He does not want to restrict his photography into one or two area only because for him photography is about telling stories through pictures, based on how he see things. He collaborates with clients to turn their ideas into a marketing photography project. He has worked with brands like Nike, Campos Coffee, Coca Cola, Goodman Fielder, Amicus, Louis Vuitton Indonesia, Australian Fashion Week, K-Mart, Holey Moley, Harpers Bazaar, Strike Bowling, Vend HQ (now Lightspeed Retail) and Djarum Super in the past and present.

Every photoshoot at Boni Febrianda Photography presents a unique challenge, as each one has its own special qualities and requirements. To achieve the end result, Boni will spend time editing the photos alone or with the team. The length of time required depends on the complexity of the concept and could range from a few hours to several days. When you hire him, remember that it's not just for the photoshoot day, but also for a few days afterward.

During his free time, he enjoys taking photographs and working on projects for his art photo prints.

The Photoshoot

The photo session with Boni Febrianda Photography will includes pre-production preparation, the actual photoshoot day/s, and the post-production day/s as well as equipments rental and travel costs. The time needed for the project depends on what is required, and it might include retouching and manipulations on the post production.

Pre-production is the time being spent on meetings (photo concept, workflow), location recce, arranging models, hair and makeup artists, and other third-party vendors, as well as getting props ready. This steps being taken before the photoshoot and very crucial for the photoshoot day. It will help the flow become smoother to achieve the result.

Photoshoot day: The photo session takes place on a chosen day, either in a studio or at a specified location.The duration of the photo shoot can vary based on the brief, ranging from 2 hours, half a day, full day or more than a day.

Post production: Post-production is the time being spent for processing RAW images from the photoshoot into final image result after the photoshoot day ended. It will involves choosing the best photos, adjusting their colors and tones, and managing digital files (including backup and organization). In more complicated situations, photoshop will be used for editing or retouching. This can take more than a day.

Equipment Rental will be charge based on what sort camera, lighting and other equipment needed for the photoshoot day.

Travel Cost will be calculated depending on the photoshoot location. It might include airfare and accomodation if the location is in remote or interstate.
